PARIS (Dow Jones)--Trading of shares in French media technology and services group Thomson SA (TMS.FR) was suspended Monday at the request of French stock market regulator Autorite des Marches Financiers, market operator Euronext said.
Euronext said trading of the shares was suspended Monday at 1046 GMT at the AMF's request but didn't provide further details on the reason for the suspension and on when trading is expected to resume. AMF didn't comment. At the time of the suspension, Thomson shares were up EUR0.27, or up 38%, at EUR0.99, in a higher overall market. -By Alice Dore and A.H.
