recently, tjx pps was breaking $40 often and looked to be going to mid 40s.......now, over a week, tjx is betw $37-38 rangebound and such reduced pps range is on the heels of Nov 5th 2009 tjx oct sales report..as well as on heels of nov 17 2009 earnings report..... Such, at first blush, is puzzling and the data, i think, has a message embedded within it......
TJx has given multiple upgrade forecasts leading up to Nov 5th......
so is this going to be a sell on the good news scenario ?? Will tjx nov 5 data be even better than envisioned ??? or worse than guidance suggested ?? Has insider info leaked out that has lead to subtle pps depression in advance of Nov 5th??
Over course of a full trading day, whenever tjx moves up to high of day, it always now comes back down, rather quickly......it goes back to 37-38 range too easily these last few days even if intraday it approaches 39.....

Could this be a function of intl. funds moving money out of usa equities....i think partly yes.... But on flip side, how does one not want to be invested in tjx for months oct,nov dec...great retail months ???
If nov 5 data comes in exactly as expected....might tjx pps stay unaffected......
Is it more accurate to perceive tjx pps as relatively stable within a broader range of 37-40 ??
I think, a long term holding here will have upside from todays pps......but im interested in how to move trading shares from now throughout mid 2010............ I have to look into tjx european store openings data......store openings is crux of tjx growth going forward...... and announcement of 2:1 split is multipoint upside catalyst which i hope comes to fruition.
