"La mazzolata" is French for Italian "mazzolato". Mazzolato is a type of execution-torture that used to take place in Rome. In Europe, asshats like you were subjected to mazzolato -- first beaten to near death and later beheaded (decapitato). "The first will be mazzolato, the second decapitato." (Le Comte de Monte-Cristo by Alexandre Dumas) The execution was done in public. It comprised of the victim being hit in the head with a mace (mazzo in Italian). His abdomen was then eviscerated and his throat slit to cause blood to spurt from the gash in his throat. Rating :
