With Bernanke signaling that he is going to continue creating US dollars (accomodating) for 9 months you are looking at a rise in oil in Q1 & Q2 because China, Middle East and others absolutely refuse to be ripped off by our dabasement.
This rise in oil will be irrespective of demand, recovery, recession or whatever including supply as it's all about the US dollar being debased by design. Look for oil to be well over $100 and very soon. GS says way over $100 in months. Yeah, oil is taking a "breather." Sentiment : Strong Buy Rating :
