LOL, Petro. Sage words.

My wife is a yoga freak. She's been pushing yoga as long as I can remember. My response: I bought a Wii, and the balance board and fitness game (with yoga) for good measure. She does the yoga; I haven't gotten beyond the balance games, LOL. I will submit one of these days. Ego is definitely part of the resistance. I am pretty athletic, but completely lacking in flexibility and quite lacking in coordination when it comes to things like yoga. Once I get a little comfortable at home, I will get to a studio, as I have a gift certificate for 10 sessions; the damn thing is 3 years old!

My back is pretty strong and in decent shape, but my posture leaves something to be desired. Too much time on the computer; it's a killer.

I did 5 minutes on the inversion table, and it felt good, Chute. I felt more comfortable at the least inverted position, as you suggested. Too much blood to the head upside down. Definitely loosened things up.

So inversion for a few weeks, then Wii yoga, then studio yoga (with the old ladies in a pool), and then horseback (PonyGurl). (I actually like horseback quite a bit, and it doesn't bother my back as long as I have a saddle. Had a girlfriend who rode dressage, and that was tough on my body.)
