LAST YEAR>>>SECAUCUS, N.J., Nov. 6, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Children's Place Retail Stores, Inc. (NasdaqGS:PLCE - News) today announced net sales of $144.9 million for the four-week period ended November 1, 2008, a 9% increase compared to net sales of $133.0 million for the four-week period ended November 3, 2007. Comparable store sales for October increased 4% on top of a 2% increase in October 2007.
