u seem 2 confuse "prime florida land" w/ low lying piney woods having little in the way of development potential. and yes, the trees do continue to grow. but, all else equal, it'll take at least 6 yrs of growth just to make up for the roughly 50% drop in pine stumpage prices over the past 3 years.
