We received a credit card over the winter for 1.9 on all purchases. Naturally, we bought a few items at SEARS for a few $$ more compared to other places.

NOW. we're getting socked at 27% NON NEGOTIABLE interest on our $4800 debt.
Interestingly, the Indian CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPATMENT was so happy to increase our debt to $7100..hmmm makes me wonder....why can't I get the SAME VALUE OF 0% FINACING that LOWES, HOME DEPOT OR any other place is currently offering. Here is the bottome line...SEARS MUST BE GOING UNDER, out of town, or under!! AFTER ALL..WHAT CAN IT REALLY OFFER AT VALUE?

In my analysis.....only SET [high 23%] + market fee of 4% on all charges is too much for my wife and I. We cannot afford $162/month on our Sears plan, this is excessive and drives up the cost of the products beyond the price we would have paid. In other words..who would pay thousands for a $300 DISWASHER??

Avice to SEARS!! Take the hit, seek to shed non performing business units and attract consumers in this aggreasive low profile market or you are Finished!!!

Avice to SEARS Consumers!! PAY CASH ONLY, OR SEEK A MORE REPUTABLE ENGLISH SPEAKING PETAILER!!

I have always loved Sears & Roebuck, but you are treating your customers like the people who are making and hocking their products.
