Yes, I'm pleased to elaborate. And no, this is not "typical message board rumor-mongering".

I've given timely legal notice of my intention to nominate two candidates for SSBI's Board. Both are highly qualified and will, if elected, dedicate themselves to maximizing value for SSBI's common shareholders. Both believe that Summit's acceptance of TARP funds was not in the best interests of SSBI's common shareholders.

SSBI is a California corporation. With due notice at the meeting, which I plan to provide, cumulative voting will apply to the election of directors.

My understanding is that the number of SSBI shareholders, other than directors, who attend SSBI shareholder meetings is usually zero. Here's hoping that Monday's meeting will be a pleasant exception.
