Status of BIL for 2009     21-Dec-08 05:37 pm    
I'm holding BIL in my 401k brokerage account because the brokerage does not offer insurance protection above $100k. I have no choice in selecting the brokerage so to protect my cash above $100K, I hold BIL. But now that interest rate on T-bills is zero...or less... WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN TO BIL? Will the share value go down as the current portfolio T-bills mature and they are replaced with those T-bills paying actually negative interest? I'm looking for safety for my brokerage cash...any ideas, please?
