So who is keeping this dead horse propped-up? There is no way retail investors are betting that they will make money out of SGLP...Even under the best scenario, the PPS might be $12 - but who would make a bet on an outside chance of making 20% when the odds are they will file themselves and the PPS will be worth $0. Sure, there will always be a value to the equipment and facilities, but they will need to pay their creditors first (and with little to no cash flow, they will go deeper and deeper in to default as each day passes)...Once they declare BK, the PPS will drop sub-dollar and the bag-holders will get screwed - The only analogy I can come up with is there are two trains on the same track, heading in the same direction - all that is left is to figure out how fast they are going so we can calculate when they collide....this is going to be ugly for the folks in OK who have devoted their time and efforts to these bandets just to have their futures wiped out.
So here's my question to those who read this and my other postings - why aren't more people shorting this stock? Isn't it apparent that the odds are in favor of the price declining more than increasing over the next 2 - 3 months? Isn't the stock market about making money on either good news (price appreciation) or bad news (price reductions) and figuring out which way they PPS is most likely to go - then either go long or short accordingly? My guess is there are two reasons - 1st, many retail investors don't have margin accounts and can't short a stock. 2nd, those that do, have very little knowledge of shorting, so they stay away from it. Or 3rd, it is contrary to everything we have been tought...buy low, sell high...Well, what about sell high and buy low? Anyway, here's the latest article on SGLP...It sure is looking bad. http://www.tulsaworld.com/news/article.a... Rating :
