There are already laws against fraud. If you lie in order to cheat somebody out of their money - that's fraud. Problem is, in the case of scox, nobody wants to enforce those laws.

Aside from the criminal laws, there is also contract law. When somebody invests in scox, because of something scox claimed, and that turns out to be a lie; I think that may be a breech of contract.

There are lots of special laws for public corporations. Public corporations not only have to be truthful, they have to be very open - much more so than private companies.

Then there are the SEC rules and regulations. Matters of "good faith" and the like. The SEC has the right to de-list any company - no trial needed.

In short, there are plenty of laws already. Just nobody to enforce the laws.
