Not sure I understand the comparison between sxci and safm. One is in the food business (always in turmoil - e-coli recalls - and lawsuits) and one in pharmacy benefits management and related activities where no one dies.
I have held shares in the Canadian company (SXC) for about 15 years since it was a penny startup in something called the Health and Biotechnology Fund in Toronto. It has been consistently focused and disciplined in its operations and, although it is expensive right now, I expect it to keep growing and eventually be bought out or expand into international markets.
