Just watched the expose on insider trading

While watching it occured to me that the shorting in this stock occurred very early and I wouldn't be surprised to find out those same shorts are freaking out, wondering if they are being investigated or not..

So lets say that's the case, do they cover en mass and pop up on radar? Or do they lie low and pretend to be surprised and take some loss to make it look natural.

Or maybe all the shorts who post here are just students of the market who constantly study technology trends, have real knowledge of biotech and can see the future before it happens.
