As I have said before, the posts you cited do indeed look like a pump and dump scheme. However, I think you are overestimating the influence of stock message boards on the movement of a stock. This may have had some validity back in the early days of stock message boards but I doubt very much if is true today. The people now posting on and reading stock message boards are more aware of scams and for the most part not big investors. Most are, or should be, familiar with P & D messages and those who are dumb enough to buy on message board advice are not enough to move a stock significantly, IMO. That, of course, doesn't stop the scammers from trying to pull it off.
Interesting that you have not posted your warnings on the MBs where the pumps were found, but only on the board of the stock mentioned in the pump. I suppose it could be also be said that those posting pumps were yours and by seemingly exposing the scam you are hoping to discourage buying the stock in question! Sort of a guilt by association ploy. Not that I am saying that is true, but shouldn't everyone take all MB posts with a degree of skepticism :-} ?
SMTX is currently selling below its book value of around $1.10, depending on the source. It has taken a hit in the last year because of the economy and I am betting that it will return to previous levels in the coming year. As mentioned here, the EMS sector is starting to show signs of recovery and the SMTX cc sounded cautiously optimistic. The CEO said they hoped to have an announcement of a new contracts in the near future, and that would certainly cause the pps to move upward significantly.
I am only sure of one thing, the price movement of this stock will depend entirely on the company's ability to turn a profit in the coming year and not on anything posted by someone on a message board. Oh yeah, and one other thing I am sure of, is that the troubled Rabid or one of his multiple IDs will continue to bash no matter what happens.
