The printing of money by the Fed will cause the price of gold to spike because it will be impossible to sell our debt in the future at low interest rates. therefore we will have to raise the rates to attract future demand. why else would anyone, government included, buy or debt when it has a big chance of defaulting? based on this type of scenario the price of the dollar will crash vis a vi the other currencies. the U.S. has trillions of debt that will be never paid off, based on that the dollar will keep losing value vs gold. inflation won't affect U.S. citizens that buy U.S. products only, but it will affect the price of imports. comments welcome!
