Thought this was a pretty clear explanation of BES functionality and the ehancement that BES 5.0 makes to distinguish their program from others ... especially at the enterprise level.

As I understand it and has been mentioned here several times it is the key enterprise administration and security aspects of the BlackBerry made possible by the BES that distinguish it from Iphone/Druid etc. It would seem to be in Apple and Google/Mot interest to develop their own BES so they might penetrate this market ... I don't know why they haven't so far. Does anybody know of Apple's program to caputre the enterprise market? Of course MSFT would seem to me need to be more of a player here than they are.

Note the latest SEC release ... anyone fathom the significance?
