So I take my truck in for a new set of tires, I about had a heart attack at a price of nearly $1,000!!! So I ask how long it will take, about an hour. So I hand them my keys and walk over to the main store to buy a cartridge filter for our refrigerator. There were three sales associates in the area, 2 gals talking about the plans for the Halloween Party they were attending and one guy on his cell phone in an argument with what sounded like his girl friend. So I stood there for about 5 minutes before I interrupted the gals and asked where water filters for there refrigerators were at? The gals looked at each other and then one replied and I quote “why would a frig need a water filter, you better ask Eric.” After another 5 minutes I walk in font of Eric while we was on the phone and asked him; without missing a beat in his heated conversation he points to the back of the building and turns around. So I stumble around and find them. Crap, there must be 20 different types and I have no idea what model I have, so I left.

I get back to the tire place and my truck is still on the rack with the tires off. It had only been a little over an hour so I got have a seat in the lounge and read the paper. MONDAY’s PAPER today is Friday. So I waited an hour and went to the bay and saw my truck was still on the rack. So I go back to the manager and was told one of his employees walked off the job and another one was not back from lunch so it would be a couple more hours. I had them put the old tires back on the truck (that took them 30 minutes) and left. I was there for nearly 3 hours and never spent a dime.

That was my last trip to Sears.
