I consistently hear on this message board that StellarOne is a joke, etc. Especially with usernames such as all4fnb or similar you know that they worked at FNB and were probably let go or moved on. They still can not swallow the truth and realize it was a smart thing and looking at data such as this proves there market share is beats the other. Please back up all these facts and stories you write about with actual data and not watercooler talk. I know at your bank, things are slow and you have a lot of downtime to try and spread rumors, etc. If you have the ability or experience show me the data to support that the marketshare is being taken over by other Virginia banks and StellarOne is declining. Spreading rumors and misinformation is illegal and the SEC seems to have no sympathy for these people in today's market.

Its probably hard for you if you are working in a smaller bank to read something like this, its a long uphill battle that you have, and probably are just trying to just get on the list. Good luck to all, and learn to bury the hatchet and move on. STEL is gaining more markets and now that the merger is over a year old you will see the bank exponentially gain more and more customers as consumers start to realize these small little start-up banks are fly by night operations and dont have the services and experience that Stellar One has to offer.
