It's time we Americans clean house at the top levels of most our banks, whether the banks be national, state or local.

The top echelon at Stellar One is a perfect example of why we need to push out the old to make way for the new.

These two reasons are why most banks need to rid themselves of their CEO's and BOD's:

1) Bankers caused the current global economic crisis. They lent money to millions of people who eventually would not be able to pay back their mortgages. It's that simple.

2) Like politicians, bankers (including those at Stellar One) have obfuscated their incompetence by creating elaborate scenarios in which they are innocent victims of uncontrollable circumstances. Nobody believes them. Facts don't back up their stories.

Let's clean house at Stellar One by replacing all top positions with people who are ethical, truthful (at least more so than the current group, not that most bankers are known for purity) and not swayed by personal greed.

After the stock value decline and the drastic dividend cut, it's time that we who own the bank kick out the charlatans who act as if they know how to run it.

They don't, obviously.

They should not be rewarded with high salaries and bonus packages while the rest of us have suffered financially as a result of their poor business judgment.
