You can't fight a fire by pouring gasoline on it. You can't cure an alcoholic by giving him another drink. Our country, our states, and the mass population of our country is bankrupt. The solution is not more borrowing. Many accuse the banks of not lending but the real reason is that loan demand has fallen off the cliff and those who want loans simply can't meet the heightened standards of lenders.

Signature Bank is at the heart and center of the economic mess and at risk for significant exposure because all of the loans that they have given (since 2001) have been in the era of this bubble economy fueled by funny money and false and now severely declining property values.
