Issue:
G.E. stock that is in a GE ritirement fund. G.E. wants to convert that stock into another fund and put 2% of the value of the stock as cash into a money market, with the remaining 98% going to the new retirement stock fund. Question: Can the stock be sent to an IRA that would be covered by the FDIC? If anyone can help, please let me know! FYI, all the people I know that are still with Steak n Shake and still own stock seem to be thrilled with SB's latest actions, for whatever thats worth. I'm just glad I got out three years ago at $18-$19 a share. Rating :
