The news release was about Star Scientific's subsidiary Rock Creek Pharm and inVentiv Health.

The stock was volatile because of probably a trading play by swing traders or other short term players, no big deal.

The intriguing part of the news was this...
"...Co also announced that it has retained McColl Partners to advise the company on a range of corporate finance matters, including the assessment of strategic initiatives involving new products."

So what are these new products that Star Scientific is bringing to the market? And the need for an advisory company? Are they entering a new market or are the new products directed towards competing with the smokeless products, etc. or what?

You guys can trash talk the company all you like, but, where will these new products take the company going forward? New potential for the bottomline or what?

Don't bother bashing the inquiry, it'll have no affect on the share price, the trading play is over so it's back to the fundamentals, you know, the reason for investing in the stock or if the stock has any potential at all.
