i was just going to say to keep in mind that the short interest data is lagging even when it comes out, and the last report released on 10/26 covered the trading period of 10/1/09 - 10/15/09.
it has now been three full trading weeks since that SI period ended. i would imagine the short interest will be down this next report, and maybe by quite a bit. the last short report showed approx. 14.4M shares short as of the end of 10/15. on the actual day of earnings, stec had that big run and closed +7% on almost 12M shares, so that could have been some short covering there ahead of the ER. atleast we shall soon have a lil better idea. :) Rating :
