Hi all,

Some of you may remember me from back in Mar/Apr range - I was asking about when the Toric ICL approval might take place and details about it. Well, I went ahead and got the Visian ICL and then had Lasik done on my left eye only (the right eye didn't really need it).

I had thought about buying some shares of STAA, but I figured I didn't want to risk if something bad happened, now my eyes are still bad and my investment goes bad at the same time! Turns out STAA stock did great - good for all of you longs! I think right around when I had the Lasik portion done was when STAA flew from about $1 to $3 for a bit at least and then I was wished I had bought. Oh well, I did OK with some other stocks I had.

Overall I have been happy with the results. I typed up alot of info at another site, so I will post that link here instead of entering all the stuff again. I am the poster with the name "Jim" at:

My first post there was May 23rd. I guess I never really gave an updated post on that site after the Lasik as I thought I would, but it went pretty good. After the Lasik, I haven't been using any glasses at all, which has been about 4+ months now.
