Back in October 2007, SSRI traded as high as $44 a share. Now it is trading at only $19. Yet, silver traded at only $13 back in October 2007 and now it trades for $17.40, so eventhough the price of silver is now higher than it was when SSRI was trading at $44.00, SSRI is now trading at a much lower price than it did back then. Note that SSRI earnings were about the same back than they are now. Then why is SSRI now trading at such a lower price than previously? IMO it's because today most silver mine investors are focused on earnings, and not the underlying value of the silver properties that are owned by the mining companies. Back in 2007, all mines were losing money, and so the focus back then was on the the extent of the silver holdings that each company had. My conclusion is that most silver mining investors fail to consider the total assets now being held by various silver mining companies. Instead, they are focused on earnings or the lack there of. IMO they are being very short sighted and are overlooking the true value of each company. But eventually they will figure it out, especially when SSRI begins to turn a profit. Meanwhile, I am loading up on SSRI stock while it's true value is being largely overlooked. In the long run, I'll have made my investment at a bargin price, and will reap my profits later. It wouldn't surprise me if SSRI suddenly announced the sale of one or more of it's silver properties and they did a couple of years ago. When reporting the profit from that sale, the stock price of SSRI would soar upward. You will have no one to blame except yourself if you fail to pick up some SSRI at the current price. SS
