Has anyone noticed that the percent of shares owned by insiders has increased from 1.96% two months ago to 6.94%. The institutions have gone from 90% to 85.1%. The shorts have increased from 700k two months ago to 869k. This means that of the 22.4m shares outstanding, 92% are relatively illiquid for shorts to cover with, barring some institution selling. This leaves only 1.8m shares trading with 869k shorted and insiders increasing their holdings from 1.9& to 6.94% in the last 2 months. Looks like the "buy high - sell low" croud is going to miss the fun selling at the lows. Monday should get back to normal as the end of the fiscal year is 10-31 for most mutual funds.
