The companies reason they give for issuing these 2,000,000+ new shares seems counter productive to me. They said that they did this to pay off a loan due in 2013. But the dividend they will be paying on the new shares is at a higher interest rate than the loan they are paying down.
Anyone have an explanation other than they are figuring on a dividend cut? Rating :
