Now now Adam.....all I said was you got the article from a faith based web site. I said nothing that discounted the authors value because he was a christian. While I am an atheist, I have never attacked any religion in my articles. People are free to follow whatever philsophy or religion they wish. Why would objectivism raise such anger in you? Remember, opinion founded on prejudice are always sustained on the greatest of violence (Francis Jeffrey).

You are absolutely right in that I erred in stating that the taxable deduction was eliminated. It was reduced for high income earners as you said and it will result in a reduction of millions and millions of dollars flowing to charity. You did however, greatly exargerate the extent of my error. It was not a 1000 words .....in fact here is the entire sentence.

"Unfortunately, President Obama dealt a lethal blow to these efforts when he eliminated tax write offs for charitable contributions."

Hum...19 words. I appreciate it when someone can point out any errors I may have made and I will be first to admit them. I have no doubt that you scoured my articles to find a factual error. I guess if there were anymore, you certainly would have highlighted those as well. I think most of the rational readers on this board would allow me an occassional mistake...after all...I'm only human (even if I'm a randroid).

I hope you find the real reason for your anger Adam. I'm sure it something much deeper than religion or philosophy. When you do...perhaps you will be able to hold a rational and reasonable discussion.
