Why? Demographics. Aging boomers. These are not daily, weekly, or even necessarily year to year forces. But in terms of decades, it's the place to be. I bought at 18.75 a few years ago. In the meantime I've reinvested divs at 16,17, 20,23, etc. I didn't like the 16 price at the time, but now I wish the 23's would have been 16's. Anyhow, in 5 years I'll probably be spending the divs instead of reinvesting.
