Well they have the same issues as other regionals but I think they kind of have themselves hung out to dry with that shelf.

If you listen to the call they say they dont need money for capital ratio reasons but they want to be able to acquire assets cheap, which means they need to raise capital. So why come in if they are getting ready to dilute you. In addition, you could also argue this is bank double talk. Meaning they say they need capital for acquisitions but it wouldnt hurt to have it for some more losses-they just dont want to say that.

So you feeling lucky, punk. Well do you?

My hunch is $4 might be the lucky number well if the market doesnt dry up since some of the other offerings lately havent done so well...like SNV, MI, SBCF, HBAN.

I an interested here but that shelf just bothers me.
