Long time no see. Guess Texas Instruments gave SMSC and other chip stocks an excuse to go up. Sounds like more talk about smartphones and pent-up demand (claimed by Dell, HP, etc) for computers may be helping.

I guess it's good news that the stock is now down only 50% from its high. Upcoming conference call should be positive. Not sure I see much more room for the stock to go up unless there's evidence of a "V-shaped" recovery - not many people expect that at this time. Perhaps management will throw out the old bone of making an acquisition. How about a new one of being acquired?
