Current and former AMIS employees extend their sincere sympathy to SMSC employees, now that the 'Terror Queen" has been selected as your new President and CEO. The rape and destruction of your company is about to begin.

Here is how it will play out...

First, she'll bring in her former IBM and former AMIS cronies into senior management. Like a flock of vampire bats, they will soon start sucking the blood and life out of your company.

Next, because she is so paranoid about her personal security, she'll have your security dept. install and/or monitor security cameras at her personal residence - 24/7. A panic button will be installed under her desk, which is directly wired to security.

Then, she'll create a position called 'Executive Technical Assistant' reporting directly to her. This position will be filled with a younger male employee - normally good looking with a military background. (Commonly referred to as Chris' Boy Toy by the troops at AMIS.) This guy will have to be available 24/7 and perform such 'technical' functions as: traveling companion to be seated next to her on flights (she's afraid of strangers); carrying her luggage, purse, etc.; waiting in the car for her while she attends business meetings; and maybe even going to the store to purchase new pantyhose for her. This job will change personnel at least yearly. (She went through six Boy Toys while at AMIS.)

Next, a new performance review system will be implemented. It is a forced distribution of ratings, with the main intent of eliminating at least 10% of the employees yearly. Special targeting of older, long-term employees is a key element.

Then, as your business (and stock) starts to drop, she'll convince the BOD to purchase questionable companies - or portions of them -in weak efforts of buying revenue. More layoffs will follow, with the additional workload and integration dumped on the remaining employees.

Finally, once the company value (stock) has decreased sufficiently, she'll convince the BOD that the company should be sold. For her role, she'll negotiate a big bonus for working to consummate the deal - to go along with her huge golden parachute. Then she'll move on to the next victim company.

The only good to come of all this?? She has moved from Pocatello, where she is NO LONGER WELCOME! And we won't be subjected to her face and BS articles about her in our local paper/news media! Good riddance!
