(NasdaqGM:SGC - News), manufacturer of uniforms, career apparel and accessories, today announced that for the first quarter ended March 31, 2009, loss from continuing operations was $(502,945) or $(0.08) per share (diluted) compared to earnings from continuing operations of $914,808 or $.14 per share (diluted) reported for the quarter ended March 31, 2008.
