Good points, Boson. What's driving their active strategy is LTE OEM; and GE. In that respect, the larger OEMs are at the wheel. Time is money, and for them - BIG money. I expect GE is making this 2G wire development project with STI a BIG priority. GE's new generation of wind turbines, fault limiters, MRI scanners, marine and train electric motors, etc. all depend on 2G wire. And if no one else can make it cost-effectively due to a lack of patent/know-how, then GE might have a lock on next generation technology ... Hmmmmm
