The recent action of this stock is unbelieveable. I understand it being a small bank with a small float that it will get some big swings but the recent move over the last 30 days has been pretty dramatic. The shares on an adjusted basis now sell at the lowest level since June 14, 2001. I would guess that it must be on someones screen at this point for a takeover, SASR's branches are in a very prime area of the Washington,DC suburbs. The management needs to do something quick to get the price back up or they will probably be on the street.
