I saw a report on CNBC this morning with AutoNation's Mike Jackson.

He was very supportive of the CARS Program despite the fact they're owed $45 Million in CARS receivables. Have the Sonic stores had any better luck getting your CARS claims processed?

There's a poll on DealershipForum.com that's asking for input on what needs to be done to fix the CARS Payment Process. One popular suggestion is that NHTSA should advance payment on all non-rejected claims that are over 10 days old. The advance would be subject to chargeback, but at least NHTSA wouldn't be floating on the dealer's cash reserves while they wade through thousands of claims.
