walter- i was thinking of your moniker while reading of the nutjob mass murderer at Ft.Hood, .....seems he spent time studying/serving at Walter Reed Hospital...... Horrific tragedy....... i feel terrible for those folks........This incident is basis for a lot of op ed pieces for former military folk who are blaming the political correctness philosophy currently existent in todays military...... they say there were multiple red flags exhibited by this nutjob, but current army thinking/procedures make it tough to pursue certain obvious red flags, due to having to be politically correct, and appear to be evenhanded to all.....
Internal military opinion letters are on file citing that the law of the Islamic religion can be a conflict of interest for an islamic faith member of usa armed services.......at least w/r to a strongly observant member of islamic faith...... at same time there are thousands of muslims serving usa in good stead......very tough stuff here.......OK........ time to enjoy the weekend....have a good one.
