while we wait. Enjoying a glass of Newman's Own wine as we speak. He was a class act, and I continue to support.
Nice posts again tonight Warty.
I'm now loaded close to the gills on the ABN's, but no one want em. Not much of a confidence builder! Course, as some of you may have caught on, I tend to follow my own drummer.
As I pause to consider the situation, I am most confident that anyone holding these preferreds right now will not lose going forward if you have some patience. And I'm focusing on preferred stock, or other fixed dividend issues, and not common stocks where one might make a lot, or lose a lot.
Though I've done very well in this last year, I know some have not. In the market we make money sometimes on the corpse's of the investments of others, and there is a sadness in that. Too, this whole financial collapse in the U.S. and elsewhere, there is a sadness in that, too. Greed and stupidity on a national and international scale.
Maybe another glass.
cheers,
jack
