This new housing tax credit doesnt do squat... people who have lived in thier homes for 5 consecutive years have lost thier equity and are so far under water that 6500 will do nothing to make them able to move. The 8000 for first time new buyers will not prop the market up as anticipated becasue the selling season is traditionally from March through september...

once again congress is leaving out the most important part of the stimulus.. move up buyers under the 5 years but who have sold thier homes and live in apartments but can't qualify as first time buyers...
