No,the ship is nothing like the aforementioned ships but believe the only line building a so called "ture classic ocean liner" is Disney and Cunard.
I've sailed on Princess,namely the Grand princess when she came out 11 years ago and that sip as some other one's were very "boxy". Carnival's ships which I've sailed on,hold the water very well. I also visited the Oasis of the Seas website today 11/3/09 and they had a Captain's report and showed the ship coming over in rough seas and the ship the Captain said was in 30 foot seas and riding very smoothly in the ocean.
