There are many megative comments posted on this board by those that I see as traders not investors. Many of us, including myself, invest in this stock for its predictable, high-paying dividend. Those looking for price appreciation and the chance to make a quick buck should be looking at other stocks to trade. Instead of the constant stream of criticism why not seek your fortunes elsewhere?

For the benefit of longer term investors here is a paragraph from the most recent Morningstar analysis:

"Employing a conservative strategy, retail real estate investment trust Realty Income has historically delivered consistent, reliable growth. We believe Realty Income has built a narrow moat around its business, but the next year or two will present the most challenging operating environment retail REITs have ever faced. Still, due to its conservative approach to property acquisitions, lack of developments, and solid capital structure, we assign a "medium" uncertainty rating to Realty Income, while our average retail REIT has a "very high" uncertainty rating. We believe Realty Income is one of the best-positioned retail REITs in today's capital-constrained market."
