Word on the street is that QC promoted a young guy within who used to manage billing department as the new VP of Operations.... never worked for a trucking company before QC...no field terminal experience...no trucking experience...no operations experience....guess it doesn't matter when whole company is affiliating...but WHAT were they thinking? In this economy...you could spend the money and find a superstar to help stir this ship away from the iceberg...It's one thing to hire people with no tank truck experience...but at least they have a firm understanding as to how "trucking" operates...it's another thing to promote someone who has no prior trucking experience at all.....never heard of the guy, but wouldn't you want to put him in the field as a regional guy before such a jump to lead a $700M company?
