Tiger, thanks. I am a psychiatrist. Mentioned it here in the days you were gone, Turtle jokes about it from time to time. I have given him my respects for fighting in Viet-Nam for the Country, helping out his daughter babysitting Allie while mom goes to work etc... I have followed the shooting story , but not in detail. Generally I feel the shooters/murderers should not get much attention, but people want to know and media digs up the stories. Maybe they should print it in small letter on the back of the magazine like the fine print for the prospectus medication adverse effects and spotlight could be on the deserving people on the front page...

This story strangely seems to have elements of both being bullied and also traitor terrorist. But so what if you are being bullied, or mistreated somehow, that doesn't give you permission to hurt, kill anybody! So the focus on the criminal mind does not really interest me. The act speaks for itself. And it is an act of traitor, if you shoot your fellow soldiers, right!

As for biotechs, I am not much informed. Psychiatry pipeline has been relatively dry this 5 years since major atypical antipsychotics became available before that. I also decided back than not to give any speeches drug company sponsored so there is no possibility of conflict of interest. Try to make the money via seeing patients instead.
