What's up Gang?

Wild and crazy FOMC day we had. I must give myself a virtual pat on the back as i played this day like a violin. Just before the FOMC announcement I said that we would see a pop on the news and then drop into the close. Played out exactly so. I was hoping S&P would get all the way back to 1042 but 1046 works good enough. I think next stop is 1020 and possibly by end of week.

TBT - I posted earlier and I did actually sell some at $48.15 on the second run at the high of the day. Made a nice profit there and will look to add it back again whn it drops back to high $45 level, which is where it should trade if my pullback prediction plays out. This is in a trading range for now and I think you can trade it, $42-$48. It will surpass $50 but I don't think it will really ramp up until 2010.

FOMC - No change at all other than only earmarking additional $175 bill instead of $200 bill for mortgage purchases. No change in the FOMC means to me that this trend chage we have been experiencing is still intact.

Gold - Oh so close to $1100. Should eclipse that tomorrow.

Crude - Got above $80, for how long though? Wasn't above $80 the last time for long. We will see how the dollar reacts.

Dollar - Fell to all currencies except the Yen today. Not sure why as I have not had time to read and find out but that seemed interesting on the surface to me to make we want to find out more. Anyone know why?

As always, looking forward to some good discussions tonight. I urge all debriefers and others to weigh in for the better of the group on these or other issues.

GL!
