What's up Gang?

Hope everyone had a nice weekend and Halloween. My duaghter, almost 3, really got into it this year. So funny watching a willing child sit there at a doorstep and grab 2 or 3 handfulls of candy at each door. This one house had a guy hanging from his garage and then said Treak or Treat as the kids walked up scaring the hellout of them. My daughter got so scared and started crying and the guy pulled off his mask as was like it's just me, I'm ss sorry, look I'm not scary..It was classic. I mean come on, a little girl walks up with a Princess costume on, you gotta refrain dude! lol

Anyway, markets were wacky today. that's about the best way to put it. We opened up huge but then the dollar gained traction and I thought we were off to the bear races but then the dollar ran into huge resistance at 76.56 on the ^dx dollar futures index chart. Dead in it's tracks the dollar bounces off resistance and heads lower and you all know the rest of the days outcome from there. Dollar still is in direct correlation with the markets.

Gold/oil- Was interesting to point out that gold/oil did not act properly as today both werr on the same day the dollar was, so that was kinda weird. Are people starting to bet that Wed. Fed announcement may leak out signs that they are going to start tightening?

Oil- still too high here if you ask me. I think $80 is going to be hard to get to again. From here I see oil finishing out the week lower.

Looks like 3/10/30 auctions are next week and the Fed will announce on Wed. the amount to be auctioned. It will be interesting to see how much more they will be selling. Wed. is a key day here I think. Maybe a bit of a gap up tomorrow but I think we see end of day selling tomorrow leading into Fed announcement.

GS seems to be lagging here. Is this a sign? My ? to the group is if GS is anticipating a nice say 10% correection here, say S&P 1040, wouldn't you think they would set this market up so that technically it looks ready to break out so as to lure more buyers in so they can continue to load up the short side and get their puts cheaper? Seems all anyone is looking at is the technicals anyway and trading the market based off that. This is my thoughts about GS and what they are thinking. Anyone else?
