I think the fear is that, with rising unemployment, global smokers will buy the cheaper brands and trade down from PM products. Counterfeiting is also a problem in many countries with smokers not trusting that they are buying authentic PM products.
If you don't have cash in your pocket and you just want your nic fix then your might skip the Marlboro's. I think that is the short term fear. That, and if the dollar gets stronger. Long term, say ten years---no worries. Sentiment : Buy Rating :
