I am somewhat of a novice so maybe someone can enlighten me...I don't understand why there is a HUGE spread between the bid and ask of this stock. I have followed this stock and tried to buy it several times but it just seems like a scam (the difference in prices). Today the bid was 16.42 and the ask was 18.90. I understand this is a thinly traded stock but come on. Someone (market maker) is making $2.50 (20%) a share for doing this transaction. I don't understand this and have never seen a consistent HUGE difference like this in any other stock. Can anyone please explain. Thanks a ton
