30063 is a dose escalation study. for example -- After the dose is administered lets say every 48 hours for 5 days and there are no problems; the dose is then at 24 hours for 5 days then 12 hours for 5 days. and at each step the patients are assessed and must be ok before moving on. Then if the dose is ok, the dose is increased and the process starts all over again, every 48, 24, 12 hours and on and on until a problem or the company stops it.

The purpose of the study is to find and identify the problems. so the longer it goes the more drug is administered and so the better.
