State of Polymedix     27-Oct-09 10:26 pm
Just wanted to give an update to all the newbies on what has gone on most recently.

Today was a landmark day for Polymedix. The very successful completion of the 1b reverse heparin application trial is a very big hurdle and leap forward for the company and its' investors. We should all be very happy and grateful to have achieved this goal so quickly given the normally costly process that Polymedix achieved on a comparitive shoestring budget.

This also means something very notable in relation to the antibiotic 1b trial. With the successful results for the 1b antibiotic trial coming in by year's end(likely sometime in November)we will be able to look to the 'clinical gaps' between safety and efficacy and even more confidantly assume we have a drug that works in infected patients. This assumptive conclusion will now be reinforced by the announcement today. The study result that came out today showed that 6 patients were given the drug heparin and they were able to reverse it within 10 minutes with the Polymedix drug. Unfortunately, the drug for the antibiotic application 1b trial does not include infected patients. However, with successful gap numbers AND the working results today, we can NOW safely assume the drug will work for this application. Of course we still have to see the gap results between safety and efficacy but with good numbers and with the results in today, this will then give us an assumptive increase of it working from around 95% to close to 99%. The liklihood that we will have to wait for the completion of Phase II completion will be more remote relative to an acceptable double-digit stock price buyout.

So where do we go from here?

Likely, the company will wait for the 1b heparin results to come out before the alleged $12 million raise. I may be wrong but I am thinking the company is sitting fairly pretty right now with these results in today. Why not wait?.... The advantage would be to get a big firm behind us to help push the price up after the deal is completed. However, these folks like discounts, commissions, warrants, etc. that dilute us all a bit more than we like and now that we have great results in we may as well wait and go it alone.

The reality is this company won't sell for anything less than around $15 a share once the positive antibiotic results are in and the big pharms start courting them. If they need the $12 million to get through the Phase II then do the raise AFTER the results.

This sounds all very good to me.

Now short term predictions?.......Well I don't have anywhere near the right answers but I will stick with close to $1.50 by Friday close. The close today was strong and the word is getting out in spite of the fact no big house is pushing this stock. By the way we shoud be trading at $3.00 plus with today's results but that is really the reason why we aren't there. No big firms pushing it. This is just temporary and is why it is a very good buy today. When the antibiotic results do come in with the assumed great numbers like today we should see a price increase from about $2.00(early November)to $3.50-$4.00 plus two weeks post great results.

Ultimately, I still think we will get taken out by mid- summer for around $15 a share when we are just getting going on Phase II. So in my mind the share price is irrelevant today since I'm not selling ANY until mid-summer post buyout.

Then we meet in Vegas.
